Bay six houses the 50 m wide by 181 m in length main assembly dry dock. It is served by two 80 ton overhead cranes, and to the East side, the fitting out bays and offices. But with modern fitting out practices for many types of ships, less so for more steel intensive ships and more so for complex ships that require a higher amount of fitting out, this may need to be reconfigured.
