We are ambitious with a long term sustainable future outlook.
New Pallion is a multi function, capable facility and multi user flexible facility.
We can undertake as examples: dry docking repair to highly complex project system builds. We can carry out double curvature bow and stern block manufacture for ships assembled elsewhere at digitally connected and integrated facilities such as Graythorp, Hebburn, Rosyth. Inchgreen, Belfast, Birkenhead etc... Or central hull and super structure fabrication manufacture for facilites elsewhere as above, an example would be midship liquid tanker blocks for the Fleet Solid Support Ships. Likewise, Pallion can be a central final assembley and integration facility having other (feeder) facilities delivering to us at Pallion which could be from any facility from around the UK. We can provide the solution to any requirment. Closer clusters could mean quicker, cheaper costs and less material expansion or contraction complexity due to local climate temperatures as was witnessed with blocks from Portsmouth to final assembly sites on the Clyde and Forth.
To be successful and viable we need to be flexible and have a multi capability outlook as well as certainty from the UK government. New Pallion ship factory not only as a shipbuilding centre, but also and multi discipline engineering facility. Building the high elevation bridge for ships to clear the Wear would be something we can easily undertake and being carried out within the UK and Sunderland, to keep the wealth generation here on Wearside and the UK.
Our new venture will involve us in the film making sector, this adding yet another activity we can participate in. As the modern maritime sector covering all forms of engineering, fabrication and manufacturing is highly automated, IT based, digital and creative which requires multi skilled people and motivated people who are not up skilling, but we like to call "diff skilling".
Our next goal will involve the nuclear sector.
